Final Fantasy 2010

I didn't see a general final fantasy topic so....here it is

I plan on cosplaying normal Kuja and Trance Kuja

I'll be cosplaying from FF7 on Saturday...but I've been more or less keeping it underwraps what I'm up to until it's finished. ^^ Which, if I'm lucky, should be in the next month or so! *been working on it for two years now*

I got part of trance Kuja done. So it is looking like I will be able to get it done in time. I am about 20% done

I'm going to be working on Quistis's SeeD uniform for the masque, so I might bring her to the gathering too.

I'm gonna be going as Reno this year along with a Rude and a Cissnei who are coming with me, possibly a Shotgun or Grappler Turk as well! Dunno what day yet, but expect us at that $3 martini bar most nights!

I'm definitely bringing game Rufus with a full set of Turks for the photoshoot - we may have bonus Scarlet and President Shinra Sr., but those two kind of depend on me not burning myself out working on everything else. Hopefully we won't get screwed over by border security this year - we left at seven am to try and make last year's shoot and then ended up with a five hour wait at the border.

I'm also going to bring Advent Children Rufus down, but I only have one matching Turk for that so that'll be a different day.

I think it'd be pretty cool to see people together as a big Turks group. I wanted to show up for the FF cosplay last year, but I also got stuck at the border even after leaving before six in the morning. Out of curiosity, sounds like there's going to be a lot of sewing for Turk suits. Are a lot of people planning on doing that?

I always have Kiros from VIII in the back of my mind as a character I'd like to cosplay, which I've probably mentioned elsewhere in the forums at some time or other. But no idea when/if that thought will become reality.

Well, there are 14 Turks total not including Turk Vincent, Verdot, and the legendary Turk. Those are also out of "timeline" of the other Turks.... Verdot was around in the beginning and the legendary Turk trained Tseng but it's pushing it a bit so I only concern the 14 BC Turks.....

We'd have an Elena, Reno, Rude, Tseng, Cissnei, and possible a Shotgun otherwise she'd be Turk Vincent. That's 6 of the 14, nearly half. I wonder if we couldn't find enough people to pick up the other characters to have a full group! The best part of that is that each Turk has a "weapon" or prop, and that could look SO amazing at a photoshoot.

Just throwing things out there...... and hoping a little. XDDD LOL

Here's a information page about the BC Turks. Even other a fill group if we had half and each had their weapon, it'd be so cool stuff there.

My twin and I already have out costumes finished minus my shuriken/Rekka but this sounds like an amazing idea and I think people should really consider. XD How cool would it be if we found an Aerith or a Rufus? Poor Tseng having to "care" of all of his "children."

I think a few can probably be picked up. Maybe a few more Turks (and God knows finding more Renos probably won't be hard). 'Course, getting a few SOLDIERs could turn it into a full-up ShinRa thing.

I will most likely be wearing him Friday or Sunday. If I do AC I will have a full set of Turks as well. Although I am still looking for an Elena!!

Heck Yeah! More Turks FTW!! Is it just the Advent Children and original VII Turks or a ton of them from the Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Last Order part of the compilation? I think it's great seeing that this September marked the 5th year anniversary that BC was released and we're seeing more Turks being cosplayed.

Question for both people going as Rufus:
Are either of you guys going to have a wheelchair? XD Just wondering. LOL

I lost my GIANT 4 foot scroll in the mail and my materia box got broken on the way home while in my suitcase. >.< Inconsiderate baggage people for planes. So I wouldn't want to risk losing my sword..... or it breaking.

I probably won't - not going to have space in my car to rent one else where and bring it with us, and it's kind of a dick move to grab one of the convention center ones, because I know places like that tend to only have a limited number, and I don't want to take one away from someone who actually needs it.

And I hear you on the plane problem - having brought large props cross country before (this scythe), it just...a very frustrating experience. And mailing it doesn't work much better :<

I have access to one, but none of my Turks want to wheel me around the convention (Hmm...I could withhold their paychecks! XD ). So that being said I am really leaning towards my game version of Rufus. But I am still working on them, because I personally love my AC version. ^_^ Maybe I can bribe them somehow.

And as far as Turks go so far I have the original four, (Elena pending) and I am going to try and talk a friend of mine into Cissnei because she has the perfect hair for it!!

(That and everyone that I've contacted via PM's are interested anyway.) I think it'd be definitely cool to do at least a Turks group, but if there're people who dress up as SOLDIER members or even infantry (since I saw a few of those last year), then I think a full-up company showing is in order.

If people're up to it, it'd be good to be around for the FF photoshoot (whenever that is), but even some parading around would be fun (always a way to get peoples' attention and take some pictures). I'd also be open to some set-scene pictures if anyone has any ideas.

Oh, and just to put it out there, I'm with Momijizukamori's group - and I'm planning on showing up as President Shinra.

The only Sephiroth cosplayer from last year is in my cosplay group. I am pretty sure she will be wearing it again if you were interested.

If she's willing, sure. I'd like to pick up a few Sephiroths, Zacks, and Crisis Core Clouds along the way, too, depending how things go.

Though I hope she doesn't plan on running Masamune through my back...
