ID For Adult reg?

Postby nightmarish » Thu Apr 09, 2009 3:58 pm

Ok, so I just got my permit on Tuesday. I turned 18 on Monday, March 30th, and right now I only have the temperary ID, y'know, the paper one. I won't be getting my hard copy untill Tuesday. Is that going to stop me from getting in as an adult?

I've used a temporary (Washington State) ID before and had no problem.

I'm a few days late, but yes. A paper one will work.
As long as it's a legitimate government issues identification (Passports, DoL issued Identification Card, Drivers license, etc) we will be able to register you. It's to make sure you are who you are, and to make sure you actually are over 17 years of age.
I've seen some people 30+ that looked 13~18. One of the girls that volunteered to help registration looked about 16. She's 21.

But yes. It's simply for security reasons.
We're going to try and get a large, colorful and prettyful sign saying "Photo Identification Please"

Not trying to be a prude or anything, but maybe we should add "Government Issued" to "Photo Identification Please" since a lot of younger folks, like myself, would consider school IDs as photo IDs even though they don't have birthdates.

And there could be a reminder online or something when people pre-register or something maybe?
